A choral tableau to celebrate Christmas. Your adult choir and Sunday school children together may perform this program of eleven unique choral numbers interspersed with short dramatic vignettes about the meaning of Christmas. The original songs and arrangements of tradional carols are presented in a refreshing variety of styles and tempos, including ballad, waltz, lullably, round, calypso and soft rhythm and blues. The short scenes with Mary, Joseph, the innkeeper and other traditional characters of the Christmas story are performed by children. Unlike most holiday presentations, this program features the talents of the church choir. The music and the drama sections may be rehearsed separately.
